The Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club was formed in 1996 when the Collingwood and Camberwell Cricket Clubs merged to form the one entity. This season (2006/07) marks the first ten year anniversary of the merger and, to mark the occasion, the very first Camberwell Magpies Team of the Decade was recently announced. The criteria for selection was as follows:  Stackpole Medallist, Victorian Representative, Australian Representative, Outstanding season, Batting/Bowling Average winner. After careful consideration the following team was announced:
